| GWILYM has published a book - A HAMPSHIRE COLLECTION - of the songs and tunes he has collected in Hampshire, including many of those featured on his CD. Information on the book and other Hampshire singers here.
Gwilym was interviewed on BBC Radio Solent on 20.1.11 about this book. The interview can be heard on BBC iPlayer. The link will be active for about a week. You will have to run it on to time 2.36.30 to hear the interview (interspersed with records, weather forecasts, phone-ins etc.) Many of Forest Tracks' artists have Websites/MySpace pages. The artists profiled below either don't have personal web presence or have news of local concerts etc, that would be of interest : GEOFF JERRAM: has been a member of Winchester Morris Men for over thirty five years, during which time he has become a nationally recognised and highly respected dancer, musician and teacher, running occasional instructionals for The Morris Ring. |
